OUR STORY
History of Genesis Futsal Club
2002
Club Founded
Founded in 2002 under the leadership of its founding member, Trevor Tamatave with a mission to give young people in Newham and surrounding Boroughs an opportunity to play football in a safe environment.
The club began its career in small 5-a-side football and quickly distinguished itself, achieving regional excellence by reaching National finals.
In 2007, the club established a Futsal team that entered and triump in the Newham Futsal League.
The club seized this opportunity and inaugurated the Futsal team and dedicated to this discipline.

Newham Futsal League Champions

Quarter Finalists of The FA Futsal Cup
A few years later, the club made a strategic pivot by focusing solely on Futsal, positioning itself as a premier club in London.
2009
Joined the National Futsal League
2010
Reached The FA Grand Finals

The FA Futsal Cup Runners Up & reached The FA Grand Finals
The club continues to compete at the highest level of Futsal in England, reaching The FA Grand Finals and Top 4 in The FA Futsal Cup, two years consecutively.

The FA Futsal Cup Semi Finalist & reached The FA Grand Finals

The FA National Futsal Series Tier 2 League Champions
Since its beginnings in Futsal, the club's reputation has continued to grow and attract elite level talent. We are proud of past and present players; success stories include players progressing to Premier League and players setting up their own successful clubs. We continue to forge a reputation for excellence of youth development and giving opportunities to young people.

The club remains a totally inclusive organisation which believes in developing its players throughout their journey from Junior to Youth, and eventually into the Senior game where the National Stage beckons to showcase their skills.
