Genesis Futsal have applied for funding to help set up a weekly Futsal session for young girls between ages of 13 to 16 years old to play regular sport. We are bringing Futsal sessions right to the heart of the community and shaping a healthier, more active future for young girls who may not be so active.
Genesis Futsal Project is a pioneering initiative specifically designed for girls aged 13 to 16 who are currently not engaged in sports or futsal. Its core purpose is to create a welcoming, non-intimidating, and supportive environment where young women can discover the joy of physical activity, build lasting self-confidence, and develop healthy lifestyle habits.
Recognizing that traditional sports programs can often feel competitive and exclusionary to newcomers, Genesis Futsal is built on a foundation of inclusivity and personal development rather than elite competition. The project removes the common barriers to entry by requiring no prior experience or specific athletic skill. The sessions are structured to be fun, social, and skills-focused, emphasizing teamwork, participation, and personal progress over winning and losing.
