📝A game of two contrasting halves for Genesis Women, who were cruelly held to a 3-3 draw by Maidenhead United after conceding two goals in the final minute.

It was a dream start for Genesis, with Gaby opening the scoring. The momentum continued as debutant Elen made a huge impact by finding the back of the net. The pick of the bunch was a superb Lois free-kick that seemed to have sealed a fantastic victory.

However, in a dramatic final 60 seconds, Maidenhead staged an incredible comeback to snatch two late goals and a share of the points. A brutal reminder of the fine margins in Futsal, where games can change in the blink of an eye.

Despite the heartbreak, the team can take immense pride in a superb performance against a strong side, especially with so many new players integrating seamlessly into the squad. A special mention must go to the Maidenhead goalkeeper, who was outstanding and made several crucial saves to keep her team in the game.
